Testing Nikon D90

Manish my good friend was kind enough to lend his Nikon D90 which has this beautiful live view feature. I just put it to its paces and found that its really exciting. The features of a motion picture camera which records @ 24fps and imbibes the cine gamma giving us awesome depth of field.. and come to think of it that its a DSLR not a video camera is phewww out of this world! I havnt done justice to its potential just few random capturing, with more time over the weekend, I shud be able to edit it better! My verdict!!! Must buy incase you are serious about photography as the possibilities are literally endless with this D90

Nicolas Cage, Alex Proyas team up for the super natural Knowing! After I-Robot I had very high expectations from Alex Proyas. he is one of the very few directors who uses visual effects to tell the story rather than getting lost in the 3d web , which I believe is a very thin line...
The world is coming to an end and all that can save us from total annihilation is a piece of paper which was buried deep in a time capsule by a class of elementary school kids envisioning what the future would look like...
Come 2009, the capsule is opened and the numbers on the paper match with accuracy to places, events and death tolls..... and the fun part begins when the paper ends with a date which is not so far in the future...... Is the world as we know it .. coming to an end? What are the numbers? A number from some spiritual/ alien source which wants to help us? Thats what the knowing is abt..
Few scenes in the movie steal the show.. excellent vfx and gripping story telling but.. not a convincing enuff end....

Just back from Clive Owen, Julia Roberts starred Duplicity.. Oh Boy it was slow from the word go!! But .. it was never meant to be an edge of the seat thriller. The plot has a strong under current of romance and Clive lights up the screen with his presence..

• Spoiler: Stop reading ahead if you want to watch the movie as am gonna jot down the twist in the movie.. Oh Yeah, its twisted and funny..here s the gist. two agents want to make 40 mn$ by duping two big multinationals and in the end learn that they were used as pawns for something which was much bigger than what meets the eye! I rate it * * * esp for Julia roberts who s returning after a long gap since (Charlie Wilson's War * Oceans Series) and Clive... he s definitely going to be the one to look out for!
  

Verdict: Go watch it if you have nothing better to do in a lazy sunday afternoon, else can wait till gets on DVD.
